I Saved A Turtle Today

i saved a turtle once

it was in the road and a car was gonna hit it so i ran out there and saved him

 

Trotlines baited with chicken guts and the middle weighted down with a brick. Near the middle of the river, the line is bouncing up and down in the water in such a way that it is obvious something very big is tugging at it. We maneuver a monstrous alligator snapping turtle into the shallow water and cut the line. Some things in nature are meant to be appreciated at a respectable distance.
