You could always ask him too. A lot of guys aren't very open when it comes to things like that. It could be nothing to do with you at all.

i couldn't...he stopped contacting me...it was an obvious sign that he was not longer interested.

 

Love is a four letter word that a lot of people get confussed with - i.e. Lust, desire, commitment - it's a shame cos there's just not enough Love in the world.
There is a phrase, maybe paraphrase that "Love will find a way" - maybe the longevity of compatabilty and indeed companionship was not to be.
Have faith , and invest in a more substantial investment .... meThinks
