respect has to be earned, despite social standing or legalities. but i believe everyone deserves at least a chance to prove themselves worthy of respect before you destroy them completely.
That's true. You end up being as snobby as the people you depise. It depends on the circumstances in which they recieved that title and their overall character.
So, you would have no problem with others not truly respecting you, until they feel you have earned it?
I don't expect people to bow down before me, no. Like I said as long as people are civil and have manners and do not disrespect me - that's fine. I will always be civil with someone, yes of course I get angry every now and again and I try to walk away from that before we say things we shouldn't. I don't really care what people who don't really know me think, but having manners doesn't cost much.
No, the picture is a guy with a gun in his pants, a tattoo saying "thug life" and displaying a rude and disrespectful hand gesture. This picture says "I don't respect anything."
Well I've been locked up before so you tell me. Alright, I haven't been clear enough. If someone has the power to destroy me, I'm not going to blatantly disrespect them. That's just stupid. My point is a title does not make a man. In many cases you don't have to do shit but to suck up and gain favor to gain a title of 'respect'. But if you do work hard, and are learned enough about a certain subject than that speaks to your character, which is far more likely to own my respect. "Respect me because you have to, I'm above you" Yeah? Fuck you.
And you wonder why people think you're an idiot. I hope does2 gets unbanned so you have someone you can mindlessly parrot and sound like their is something going on in that head of yours. But for now just go on making random noises and idiotic mono-sylabic attempts at wit, or whatever you were doing...
I don't hate you, I just think you're an idiot and a follower. You seemed to have a lot more to say about me when you were dick riding on a group of other people. I actually have more (barley any still, but more) respect for you former clique because it didn't have to be the 'cool thing' of the moment for them to bash me. Either way, I'm done with you now.

Sorry, but that picture doesn't look anything like a hippie. I hope you aren't comparing a thug lifestyle to the hippie movement.
