I'll give you an honest reply now

You're 19...that means you either stay there with them and put up without complaints and do your share of the house chores....

    ...or move out.

    There's really no other answer.

That bit of wisdom comes almost exclusively via experience. Sometimes the easy route isn't necessarily the best route.

You're 19. You should have a job, work towards moving out. I had a shitty home life in that sense as well. If you were younger I would sympathize a little more, but you're and adult now and need to make changes in your life if want out that bad.

Just avoid them as much as possible until you find an out.

I'm in the same position as you. I'm only 17, though I'm graduating from high school in a couple months. My mom is pretty cool to me, but my dad doesn't like me at all. So yeah, that's great. He's trying to say that I'm getting kicked out when I'm 18 (which is in August). And yeah, he just treats me like crap a lot of the time. So I can relate.

I'm in the process of trying to get a good job too, so I can save up lots of money and move out. Sadly, I'm here in Michigan, which has one of the worst economies in the nation. So that's not really helping the pursuit all that much.

I would say that your best bet is just trying to find a job and then avoiding your dad/folks as much as you can, and try not to do something stupid that will cause them to kick you out.

Sorry that you have to go through a situation like this. It's too bad that things like this happen.

youre 17 so employers are going to believe that you have no useful skills. take any job you can get and save up your dough. you're not going to find a good job anytime soon.
