Check it out, they got everything figured out, apart from one thing. Where's the bleedin' karsie? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7845835.stm
OK our country is falling apart and we're going back to the moon? Welcome to 1968. Good year for music but it ain't like we've got trillions to spend on a fookin space cruise...
They stopped going to the moon just before I was born, I wanna see them go back. But yeah, there's fuck all up there apart from grey rocks and dust, so what's point?
And the Pacer was an updated version of the AMC Gremlin: Which I owned in the late 70s... And damned proud of it.
Okay am I the only one that heard the horrible squeaking that thing make when they flipped it to turn left? Also is nt the orignal car still sitting up there on the moon? Why not use it, no air, no water so should be no way for it to go bad!
Having driven one, and held it together with baling wire and bondo at the the bitter end, about $200.
I actually meant the Pacer, but your post with the Gremlin popped up before mine. I like the Gremlin too so I just kept it that way. That orange color is awesome, in fact, I like all of the vintage cars that have been posted in this thread. I love cars from the 70's. Pity I don't drive.
There really were some pretty good cars back then like the AMC Matador, Buick Century Turbo Coupe, Triumph TR-7, The Trans AM, and The Subaru Brat :cheers2: Hotwater
