The commercial="Happy cows are from California." I grew up in dairy country and when passing some of those dairies---the smell is overwhelming and the milk cows are most often up to their "ankles" in nasty smelling mud in the winter. Summer-bad smelling dust.

I like cats. Pretty much self-tending and don't act like 2 year olds with an endless desire for attention. I DO like dogs also, but I'm not willing to give them the time they need, so I and dogs are better off that I don't get one.
