I Read This Quote And Thought It Would Make For An Interesting Discussion.

  1. I don't understand why anybody would speed up. Which I can only take to mean "do things faster." It's not like death is more imminent because you'll be reincarnated. I can almost guarantee you if everyone knew this, we would all slow down. Fear of death seems to be what makes things so urgent in the first place. A lot of people might be inspired to put their noses to the grindstone, but working diligently isn't the same thing as speeding up, really.

I hope we do find out more about the possibility of life after death so that people will chill out a little bit. And where progress is involved, focus more on reality rather than be in a panicked rush to solve all the problems.

I would slow down currently, I am enjoying my life for the most part. I have a great hobby I enjoy (making beer) - a wife who loves and cares for me and two really awesome adult children who are doing great.
At this point I would want to delay reincarnation...I can look around me...I am better off than many around me in a number of ways.

I'd want to leave the stage for good.

not wanting to come back to the SAME stage, is NOT the same, as not wanting to 'come back' to any.
