I never buy straws...

Why buy a package of straws when i can walk into a place that has straws like Starbucks or Mickey Dees and take a handful or 2

They don't seem to mind.

haha...didn't expect you to say you take them from restaurants, starbux has pretty nice straws. I am obsessed with straws, literally obsessed. I use them in all my drinks, including alcohol, so I always pick up a pack of a hundred for $1. I also bite on the tip. I fucking love straws. In fact, as I was reading this post:

They always give me a straw when I buy an energy drink from a bodega..it's so much cooler to drink ur red bull thru a straw

I don't ever use straws. I've heard it's better for your teeth to drink pop/soda through a straw. Not sure if that is true or not.

 

And is said to cause excess air in the stomach.

 

Same here. I've never bought straws in my life and I don't think I've ever used one at home.

BTW, have you noticed that all the sodas are super-sized, but the straws are still sized for 12-oz sizes? They fall right inside.

 

I like to use a pair of scissors and cut one end diagonally. Then cut it in half at the middle and now I've got two useful tools

I used to know this dude, I'd see him around my block sometimes he was always chewing on a straw. I thought he was probably geeked up or a crackhead but he didn't come off that way at all, more just like a typical stoner..nice guy.

 

I've bought at least 1 pack of straws, cos i used it to make one Uber-Straw, which didn't work.

Oh most certainly. I do sometimes drink coffee & tea with a straw. I think straws enhance drinks. But, tea and coffee is delicious so I can also pass on the staw...

 

I remember getting one of those huge aluminum straws from 7-11 years ago and snorting 2 tabs of MDMA in one go XD. I think was one blue and one yellow lady...we had green and red ladies too but the blue and yellow when crushed up together made green

 

design a combustion engine that runs on straws.

 

I'm sure it could be done...think about the shit plastic is made of...if u can just reverse that u'd have clean burning fuel.

Or you could just burn the plastic as fuel as is, but it would be awful hard to start in cold weather and probably make lots of toxic exhaust

 

I buy straws, because I won't steal. I can get, like, a hundred straws for a dollar.
