Hello my name is Miradnia, I'm 16 and I just moved to Tallahasse Florida and I have no friends. i'd desperiatly like to meet new people and possibly gain new friends. The last thing you want to do is permanently hang around in these forums or on your computer for a start. As much as everyone will say "this is a great place to make friends etc" it's not. The best thing to do is take up a hobby, join a team in netball, football, rounders, swimming etc. You'll meet people. About your struggle to make conversation, I'm the same with some people, there are people you can't make conversation with but there are people that you'll click and won't stop gabbing to. If you joined a team you'd have alot to talk about, even if it's just training. Do you attend college, school, work? You'll also meet people there. Use this forum as a "free time" when you have nothing to do. Don't hang here hours upon day.
Hi, Mirandia. Good luck on the meeting new friends thing. I'm in kind of the same boat, down here in a state capitol near the East Coast in the Deep South. There, that narrows the list. I've lived here 20 months, after spending my entire previous 45 years in Oklahoma, so I kind of know what you're talking about. I figured it would be less pushy to make my first post in sort of a generically titled thread, rather than start my own. "I need friends" is a pretty good generic title. Hi, everybody!
