Um... NO.
Meth has the actual amphetamine molecule in it. It's basically amphetamine + a methyl group. Cathinone is only a cousin of amphetamine and it has only 1 extra oxygen.
But ritalin has neither the amino group nor the basic methyl group. Which is a HUGE difference that make meth the REAL shit and ritalin an ersatz.

 

For the same reasons, Meth and Amph are both also phenethylamines...

 

Well I don't know enough chemistry to argue this anymore, but I still maintain that Ritalin is basically the same as meth... It just slightly more complex... I'm just going by what erowid is saying in this article

Maybe but I don't understand why you insist that ritalin ressemble amphetamine as much meth does. While it's obvious that it does NOT.
Ritalin is amphetamine-like but meth IS an amphetamine. It's obvious, esp. on the chem-compare.
amphetamine is short for alpha-methyl-phenethylamine. Meth has it all, ritalin has no alpha-methyl, not even a whole phenethylamine.
