Im new here, I have some honest questions i would like to ask but there are a lot of people on here i find would not give any helpful advice and are here just to ride around on thier high-dread-horses. Wild just gave the condensed message of "make sure u want to do it" and got flamed to shit. I hope my dreads dont correlate to my ego like some of the people on here.

Hey yeah,i had dreads for 2 months or 3 hehee i enjoyed having dreads it was quite a cool process actually,hehee i started teasing my hair with my fingers at first.and then speeded it up with backcombing hehee...my real first try tho was when i braided as many pieces of hair as i could then tried teasing it,but that didn't come out so good so i took out all my braids and started off fresh ehhee...yeah they came along nicely then my mom helped me with putting thread around my dreads like the backround pic here looked cool...but i had this huge fat one at the back of my head..and it looked kinda wrong...anyways i just thought about it a bit more and said to myself...well what if i wanted to change my hairstyle..i would have to shave all my hair off if i really wanted all the dreads out..because if i left them in for longer they would be so locked..anyways so my sister she helped me get it out with combes and stuff...LOST LOTS OF HAIR....BUT it was dead hair that falls out every month anyways and because i had dreads..it was locked in and couldn't fall out looked like i was molting ..was scary cuz i thought maybe i was gonna be bald afterwards hehe but i wasn't thankfully...then i straightened my hair and put some spray natural conditioner on

Felt so different with normal hair again anyways then i got the split ends cut off and got a treatment hehehe it was nice to know you dreads! lol
