Hi there. I just joined this forum. I live in Toledo (not terribly far from where you are in MI, Annie) and I too miss barefooting terribly.

 

I go to school in Toledo...I hate that town LOL

 

I'm not terribly fond of Toledo by any means; I actually chose my screen name because I felt like I was sent here against my wishes. Ah well, a move is imminent (within the next year and a half); I just don't know where yet.

Where do you go to school? UT? What are you studying?

Yup, I go to UT.

I'm majoring in environmental studies with a concentration in Poli Sci. I'm in a really small department of the university and I know pretty much everyone that is going for an environmental degree. That's about the only thing I like about the school is that it's sort of a small community within our program...we are pretty much all friends and study together and whatnot.

How did you end up in Toledo of all places?

 

I'm glad there's something you like about UT at least. I went to college and medical school in Louisville, KY. After medical school (during my fourth year anyway), I went through a match process to find out where I would do my residency training. Despite a strong hope of ending up in Tampa or New Orleans, I was shipped off to Toledo.
