I made my own chai a-la the Indian Himalayas Half pan of hot water with handful of tea leaves 3 cardom pods, small hand of sugar, boiled. Then add milk, leave another minute and serve. Mmm.
I never got the chai thing, it made my tongue go bleurgh, although if I try it another 7 times i'll like it (or so I hear). I miss the chai chapel though, I miss all the drummings
love the drums!!!!!! miss the chai! miss all you guys! *sob sob* but fear not there is the tankus gig! yaaaaaaaayy!
Sounds like I ought to try some chai! I'm sorry Sal, but Earl Grey tastes like soap. And Claire, peppermint makes me feel sick Now, Assam is my kinda thing. I'm such a teabelly. I'm called magic tea on another forum I frequent. Maybe I should make the transition here - what say you?
How far north are you? Is it Yorkshire tea for breakfast, dinner and tea? I'm a green tea or lemon, honey & ginger tea fan at the moment.
Buhahahaa...yeahhhh all right I'm an hour and a bit away from Yorkshire Tealand (Harrogate) but my bandmate drinks it in leaf form and it's killer! (Nice though) I recommend it! Puts hairs on yer chest! Claire - I don't know why it made me feel icky, maybe I put too much sugar in it or let it brew too long, but I couldn't stand it!
I was in Harrogate only a month ago. I live near to Grimsby. Don't drink black tea anymore but liked yorkshire tea when I did. Was only taking the p*ss anway )
Who mentioned green tea, me likes green tea, even though t tastes like siol a bit, I still like it. Maybe I should try soil tea aswell, I might like it, anyone ever tried soil tea?
