Just from my perspective:

Lynsey has sort of used the fora as a place to vent her personal issues, and accomplishments. I don't think she is trying to say she is better or worse off than anyone else. I really don't. I simply think that this is an outlet for her much like a diary would be. The benefit of being able to post her thoughts here is that she can get support from people that know her on here. I think it really shows the self confidence level of the posters here that bash her for her postings. Really, who here agrees with how everyone else lives their life? Why do we need to reply to her posts by telling her she is living her life wrong? We can respectfully give our opinions, but what good does it do to turn the fora into a battlezone? If you don't agree with her, or don't like her, put her on ignore. This will save you unnecessary stress. I just don't understand all of the anger this has revealed.

But again, that's just my opinion on the matter, and I am certainly not looking to argue with anyone over it.

true - except when you actually know the person and those words are hurtful and directed towards you. I really can't stand drama and arguing, but I do have feelings and when someone whom I shared the most intimate moments with makes several posts and threads cutting me down - it gets personal and there is good reason to be offended.

I bit my tounge for the most part until the other night. I actually had to stop coming to the forums for a few months last summer and into fall because I would constantly read about how much I sucked and how much better she deserved than what I offered.

That was a very difficult thing to do - to leave the forums, because there are many people on here - yourself included, whom I feel a bond with and wish to read, learn and be a part of their lives and them mine.

I wish lynsey all the best in the world. If I didn't care for her, perhaps I would've brought up personal stuff between her and I on here and cut her down in much the same way as I feel that she has done to me over the past year.

That night I had read a thread of hers talking specifically about me and it just tore me up and yes I was offended.

What an interesting thing the internet is. It was her words on here that made me fall for her and end up being together with her. Ultimately, it was her words on here that truly pushed me away in the end.

In the end, despite all the times she's offended me on here and all the times that I offended her (mainly in private), I do wish the best for her and hope she finds what she truly is looking for in life.

 

hmmmmmmmm........i guess there is a difference when you actually know the person. I just meant in general. it was like earlier in this post when i posted something and someone said something that was probably just aimed at everyone, but right under my post telling people to "just shut up or something like that. anyways, i dont know if it was really aimed at me, but if it was i just laughed, cuz i mean i dont give a fuck if that person was telling me to shut up cuz i dont know the person. lol.........had it been in person, i probably would have talked some shit ang gotten in their face. (not threatening anyone by any means, just if a stranger walked up on the street to me and told me to shut the fuck up or if it were in a public place, i probably would have been more offended and pissed off.

I am sorry you and lynsey both have to go thru what you both are going thru.

 

And brother, please don't take anything I have said personally. I have absolutely NO IDEA what happened between you two, and I damn sure don't need to be getting into the middle of it.

As for me being materialistic it's the society I live in. As for hoew much I spent on clothes-I went from a 14 to a 6...yeah I needed new stuff, new everything bras panties, jeans, suits, pants.
Anyone who takes the amount of interest in my life that some of you have need to find hobbies or be a little more secure with who you are. I do not pick on people here-rarely at all. I am civil and nice so for this attack to come out from people who don't know me causes me to interpret it as jealousy or a need for drama. I didn;t have time to read the entire thread but fromt he few posts I did read I am highly amused that all of this generated attention to this magnitude and 200 plus posts...
