So as many people here know, I never actually knew my dad. He and my mom were rebels, which is how I got here. It's also why my mom is only 15 (almost 16) years older than me. Well, just recently, he finally found me, and reached out from where he is in Mexico. Well, he found me on Facebook, and reached out, hoping even though it took him this long to find me, I'd allow him to be part of my life. Well, I decided to let him. We exchanged phone numbers, and soon after the first message he sent, he called me a few days later, and we talked for a solid two and half hours last night. Tonight, we gave the video chat a whirl. Basically, I'm finally getting to know my dad. I still remember telling him that the reason he couldn't find me for so long was because I never had any public profiles until March of last year, and thatsthat's why he couldn't find me for so long. All in all, he seems to be a good guy. I'm eager to get to know that side of my family more .
Well, tell him first thing he needs to do is give you the birds and the bees talk. You dint get here because your parents were rebels, you got here because mommy and daddy loved each other very much, daddy put his cucumber in mommys watermelon.... I'm just being a dick, good for you for getting in touch with your dad But yes, please tell me he runs a shoe manufacturing company or is a foot hygienist or something
That’s fantastic. Hope you sat down and had a few beers and a good chat. Glad you enjoyed meeting him.
Good on you. I remember meeting my natural father back in 1999. A nice bloke. He wanted to talk to my umpiring association's secretary at the time.
Sounds strange. Has time to go to talk to the umpiring association but doesn’t spend it with you. Sad.
