i made such an unhealthy dinner tonight- but it makes a GREAT snack!

    make a casserole of a large diced onion in lots of butter, set aside

    take a package of hash browns, sharp cheese (two cups), 16 oz. sour cream, can of cream of chicken soup and ritz cracks on top

    35 mins. at 350 ... nice, non healthy dinner

    tomorrow i make healthier :)


    now i eat :) it makes a lot!

    haha. food=good. (hint: it makes more sense if you pronounce the oo's in good the same way you pronounce them in food.:))

    yeah. i understand. same with tofu 'buffalo wings'...theyre really fucking good only if youre really fucking hungry. but when its all over, you look back and think "what is wrong with me?"

    haha yeah i know but man..hashbrowns and cheese and shit. i know it's not great. it tasted SOOO good then though.

    Actually, if you eliminated the potatoes and the crackers, and added protein instead (maybe chicken) the meal would have been healthy. Natural fats that come from meat, poultry, fish, dairy, and olive oil are very heart healthy. They provide the cholesterol our bodies need to produce good cholesterol (HDL).

    not all meat is heatlhy but i agree with you mostly. i bascially made this to be a quick, munchie meal though :)

    That is true... I certainly would not advise overconsumption of red meat.

    yeah i think a bad meal every once in a while is okay :)

    but i do know.. i wouldnt eat that every day. lol

    Isn't tofu a fancy name for softened blobs of cellulose (paper)?

    I believe paper has more taste...

    My Internist says to avoid (ala nada) organ meat...hard to beat a pile of fried chicken gizzards or a platter of grilled calf liver.

    He claims they're worse than red meat...
