also people have been comparing it to a parent having sex with their child, and its not the same thing at all.
if a parent has sex with their children its abusive, particulary when they are kids as there is an age difference and a power difference.

Perhaps when you actualy grow up you'll come to understand that there are many things you still dont know in life and reality can be far more entertaining then dreams at times. Even at my age I am still learning so very much. I think we should be so much more free.... Unfortunately in todays society we hvae (man/govt. made) diseases like AIDS and such, so we have to be protective, but I think if we weren't so fucking uptight about it we'd all be a lot happier and better off. Think about it, you could say... give your friend a blowjob (male or female, it doesn't matter because we're not uptight remember?) in return for them doing you a favor.


If we could all just stop looking at sex as something used only for procreation between a man and a woman, and start looking at it as an expression of feelings or a way to have a great orgasm, we'd all be a lot better off.

well ive been thinking about my relationship with my brother. I can't stand him, I see him about once a year, with no contact in between, then when we do see each other we hardly talk.
we're not doing this to hurt our parents, but it does have that effect on them.
I can't help thinking, in light of reading this, that what i'm doing with my brother is a lot more harmful to my family, than if we made love.

Having studied morality and ethics from a philosophical point of view I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing morally wrong with sex between close relatives. This may seem completely contrary to most of our instincts but that is only because it is our instincts that tell us to think this way.
In evolutionary terms concieving a child is undesirable as it reduces the variety of the gene pool, leading to the possibility of genetic defects. However, many incestuous relationships are not intended to produce children and in such cases there is no moral case against this practice. Sexual relationships between family members have no actual effect on anyone other than those involved and as long as theyre consenting adults what right does anyone else have to prevent two people joining in a loving relationship.

I believe its your right as a human being to make choices and if this is the choice you have made, as long as you arent curbing someone else's liberty, you should feel content with knowing you have done nothing wrong.

This is probably where I am at in the most way I could be. I have stated several times here, that I cannot come to a concrete explanation or feeling or anything concerning this thread. But, Diancecht, you got it. No one should have the right to prevent 2 consenting adults engage in intimacy of any kind. It's not something that comes into my own reality, but there are aspects of my reality and lifestyle that have been argued by society forever. Perhaps this situation is just another societal induced wrong. It's not my place to say who should do what. If they were my kids, it would be my family's issue. So, as far as her family and her choices, it's just not my business. I don't advocate it, but I will not condemn someone for a choice they make on a consentual basis.
I am interested to know about how her brother feels about all this? Is he ashamed or secretive about it? What's his take on the situation? Take on incest?
