Gods are parental figures so the question is, realistically, what kind of parent would you like? Among tribal Hawaiians and other tribes, children sleep and ate with whoever they were friends with, rather than their parents, who they might not have much a relationships with.

 

Why would a God who allows free will among his creation, be considered flawed?

The issue is what is free will and awareness? We could say that for anyone to have free will, they must be able to give it away, or appear to give it away. Someone jumping off the Empire State building appears to be largely throwing away their awareness and free will from our limited mortal perspective. If love and awareness are synonymous, then so is free will, and the question is not how do we seize free will, but how to cultivate and nurture free will. God did not cultivate and nurture free will in Satan, who threw his own free will away, by blinding himself to God and the truth. The truth hurts for a reason, and Satan needs to explore that reason. One in five Americans insists the sun revolves around the earth, because they have blinded themselves to a great deal of the greater truth.

I guess I am. The only Bible I've ever read was an old one my mom had. In mine Lucifer says to God that if God punishes Job, Job will eventually turn against God. So God makes all of these bad things happen to him. I know it's only a story. I've been feeling like Job, though. That's why I'm mad at humanity. Nothing has ever gone my way, and no one cares. People are always putting me down. So-called friends and even my own sister. They just see me as a punching bag. I'm pretty fed up. Instead of taking me seriously and being understanding of me, just telling me to get help or whatever. Taking advantage of my mental illness, treating me as a non-entity.

Worshiping God has its faults, though, for me. I'm always like, we're a great big family, and I try to be understanding. But all I get is neglect in return. So I can't worship God like that anymore. I have to think more along the lines of Lucifer, how terrible everyone is. I can't stand the world, how people go about their happy lives while other people suffer, so I should just be mean to everyone. You really can't love people from a distance. Because, from a distance, they're really not so great. You just see them do mean things all the time. It's no wonder God gets so excited when someone like Job is around. "Hey, there's a good man!" My love for God has caused me to only be able to love people from a distance, and it doesn't work out. God has separated me from humanity, because I made a concerted effort to be a conscientious person in a world where people really aren't conscientious. It'd be nice to think people are, but they're really not. If it's not one thing, you find out another. One guy'll just be a straight up bully, another guy will have latent racism. It never ends.

Everyone will just keep ignoring me. I have nothing. No hope. It's gotten so that I don't even want to try to be successful at anything anymore, because I already know how people treat me when I'm down and out, and I really don't want anyone's love anymore, because it's just vanity. Vanity of vanity, all is vanity. I don't know if I even believe in love anymore. Just think, if I could be a really clever smart aleck prick who doesn't believe in God or care about anything, people would love me. They honestly would.

I honestly don't think that people care. I think they're primarily selfish. No different than cold blooded lizards. Just trying to get what they think is theirs. Even when they try to look out for the little guy it's all about feeling good about themselves. They do it for reasons like that..."This'll make me feel good about myself." So they call themselves philanthropists, but it's empty. Jesus said to give the clothes off your back, and I'm right there with him. People are hurting. I think we should try to help them or suffer with them, but devote waaaaay more time to helping them. It should be priority #1, but it's more like some second hand thing you can do to feel like you're a truly caring person.

 

I don't think Lucifer is the one who is disturbed. He punishes sinners. What do you think, people go to Hell and he hands them a mocha latte and they watch sports together? People just think he's the ultimate sadist. I think he has too much respect for himself and, maybe once upon a time, God.

 

Lol I actually agree with this. Sometimes I think we as humans need someone else to blame for why we choose to do the wrong things at times. I believe Lucifer is that illumination for us to simply look inward at why. Stop blaming God or Satan, kind of thing.

 

What adults do in the privacy of their own homes is none of my business, but that's only if they are consenting adults. Sadists like Hitler are flat out insane.

 

What is private becomes public via osmosis. You can't keep anything in your home. It's attitudes that get changed, and attitudes influence everything. I don't want to turn this into sex talk, though, because I hate the subject. So overblown. I do know that it isn't about love any longer.

I suppose I believe two men can truly love each other, but I'm not going to pretend like a dick up the bum is a symbolic consummation of that love. That's laughably absurd. Maybe a hug and a kiss. I guess it's just the plight of the gays that they don't have a non-ridiculous way to consummate their love. Everybody's got their burden to bear.

Then again, who makes love anymore? Does anyone? Porno society is doing a number on the way men see women as well, but that's a whole different subject. I know I don't feel I could love a woman any longer.

 

Its actually old folk and tribal wisdom, that the less an individual is usually concerned about themselves, the better their sex life. Sex is about giving, socializing, about being creative and passing the best of who we are on to future generations because, if it were different, it would simply be masturbation. Love is all you need, because your needs don't matter without it.

 

Unfortunately most people don't realize that most fear in a person is subtle and disguised by language and definition. For instance, an angry person is fearful of not coping with change. Revenge, resentment, racism, prejudice, jealousy, envy, greed, etc are all forms of fear.

 

That's completely idiotic. Old wisdom that says the better your sex life the better the person you are. Do I even have to comment on how asinine that is?
