hehe...the dress was really old. It's actually one I got in London when I was 15. I've had to sew it back together so many times..... I really wasn't surprised when it popped.

 

I know its turned into a bit of a running joke between the two of us this fan thread verses hate threads and all that.
but ive been thinking that there seems to be a small number of people on here that seemed to be determined to be negative and put others down, often in the name of promoting lively debates and one doesn't have to be negative to do this, I think if those people took a leaf out of your book this place would be more welcoming.
theres a philosophy of thought called humanism, that goes very well with being a hippy, you may have heard of it.
one aspect is that while one is honest with people that one also treats others with unconditional postive regard.
this quite often means that the humanist will say something like ' I didn't like what you said or did but I still respect you as a human being' takeing the action away from the person.
you seem to be naturally a humanist so treasure your ability because its a gift.
