I gardamm love this city, out shopping in pitt st mall, the last couple of nights, heaps of people, buskers playing chritsmas carols, all the pretty lights, all the atmosphere, made me well up at times. But alas, xmas day, stuck with the relos, watching them inhale food, already starting to moan and complain. I thank baby jesus for giving the world vodka. 7 kids here today so far, all but 2 of them weigh more than I do
Christmas Day is my favorite day of the year. The kids open their presents, I have Stollen for breakfast, we eat dinner, I watch a Christmas Carol and I slip into an alcohol driven coma...
I love Christmas day as it is the day that most people really try hard to be agreeable and appreciative. I am not so fond of the mess when everyone leaves though.
Christmas Vacation is a must, its the ultimate christmas movie. Its a wonderful life too, but I have to watch that alone, as I always cry like a baby at the end
The one thing I like about it is the reactions of the kids throughout the whole thing. The rest is like ehhhh. I should have gone to help bake stuff but I didn't. I'm not sure how I'm going to resist getting bored. My plan is to make lots and lots of phone calls. I should find my camera or make my phone work so I can take pictures, that should occupy. I'll sleep good tomorrow night.
My wife has to watch Christmas Vacation every Christmas Eve. I'm not such a fan. To me, the 1951 B&W version of A Christmas Carol is a must.
