Do you all realize we're old? Like old. I should have kids running around and shit, watching some lame cartoon and like HEY and put the muppets on the bluray. Or like yo watch this fraggle rock shit with the old guy and his dog, and a hidden world. But instead I'm an old drunk, lmao.
For real. I'm almost 35 years old and all I have is a 10 year old dog. He doesn't give a shit about TV except football. The only time the asshole barks is when football is on. I was never really a cartoon kind of kid. When I should have been watching the Smurfs I was watching the Thriller video and scaring the shit out of myself. I watched the shit out of some fraggle rock though.
hell yes i'm an old bastard and proud of it. what the hell is too weird supposed to mean in the context of a place like this? mundaneness is for twits. fuck booze and football both.

I never had kids and was an adult when the muppets came out so I did not really get to know all the characters. Over time I have come to like Kermit and Elmo for some reason. Whenever I watch "It's a Wonderful Life" I wonder if two of the muppet characters got their names from that movie. The taxi driver and policeman were Bert and Ernie.
i know a lot of furries have gotten into the booze, but that's not what got me into furry. not what it started out being about. there was a spirit thing to it, and i don't mean the kind of spirit that comes in bottles. hippies started out not being about mundaneness either. just the opposite. and that is what got me into my world view as well. sorry to be offensive, but mundaneness never was hip. caring about not fucking up the world more then caring about what anyone things of one's self, was and is. of course no one can be who they are not, and i certainly don't mean to condemn anyone for not doing so, but that's just the point, to dream someone els's dream then one's own, is to live a lie. the only reason mary-j became popular in the 60s, was as an alternative to beer and tobacco. lsd as an alternative to whisky, everclear, and heroin. and i'm sorry again, but i see booze and football, as very deeply inbedded in that mass popularity of living a common lie.
I do. I guess Kermit has always been my favorite. Did you see the Lady Gaga Muppet special on netflix? I watched it with my kids a couple of times.
