I expected too little of you all. Usually when I say King was overrated, I get crap from people who really don't know too much about that whole movement.
Least they could do is be a little more legible... and provide thought-provoking information that stimulates the mind or some form of interesting introduction that we could... well, actually work with to some extent, if you catch my drift. My apologies though, but I'd rather be honest about it...
The black panther party utilized African-Americans to fight/kill other people of color in the world who, like Black people, were being victimized by the White racist government of America. They rejected both the integrationist words of Martin Luther King, disagreed with people like Karl Marx, and were not willing to compromise with anyone. I really don't see the impact as they were nothing more than a Black Nationalist hate group. That's like saying the KKK provided further advancement in US History, civil rights, and policy. (Though a SCV supporter, I strongly oppose that the KKK still use the Confederate flag as a symbol of their own.)
Reckon that really isn't out of the ordinary, though. Nothing personal... I give alot of "wtf yo ' awards out.
