I hear members of this community saying that pedo and men who like preteens to younger girls should get help. What exactly would or should a psychologist say to them?

Any stance I give is already tainted but it burns me up why people who are pedo and the like can't (and they shouldn't) engage in their fantasy with out other's being hurt.

Imagine you liked men and lived in a world were sleeping with them would damage them mentally. Sexual orientation is painful.

Am I the only one who is going to reccomend professional help? Talk to a counselor. They may be able to help you understand why you are attracted to children and either help you work past it, or help you find stratagies so that you do not slip up and hurt a child.

I used to talk exactly like the original poster of that quote. That was before i was abused by a paedophile and later discovered the man i was sleeping with was a paedophile
I tried to help him in all ways possible, i got deep into his mind, and the fact is, he could not be changed. He was sick, he had no conscience, he couldnt see what he did as wrong, and no amount of therapy would ever fix him. He was just a sick fuck who ruined my life, as was my previous abuser
