I'm addicted to signing up for free samples online. This week my PO Box was full of free shit. I love it. It's like Christmas. Free deoderant, lotions, shampoos, soaps, tea, coffee, etc, etc. Plus, I'm so bored at work sometimes, it gives me something to do. And who doesn't like free stuff? I bet the post office workers think I'm nuts.
Yea... I used to do that stuff all the time. I love feeling out those things for free samples... especially when I see them advertising it on TV... I'm like "oooo... what's that address!" Yea.... I <3 free stuff too.
i don't have much use for the kind of crap on tv or consumer crap in general, but i really do love some of the things i've found legitimately free online. the free samples some musicians who make the kind of music i like give away, more or less i suppose, as promos. and then some of the stuff FOR the computer. my favorite has to be so far something called blender. it's a 3d illustration program that's every bit as powerful and full featured as comperable applications costing in the 3 to 6 KILObux range! its just got a wee bit of a steap learning curve to figure out and internalize where everything is, but really, having used an old version of 3d autocad (r14.0) for most of ten years, the concepts weren't a problem, just learning a different user interface. i guess autocad's isn't really all that intuitive either, so it really wasn't that bad at all. there's still things i'll be the NEXT ten years learning on it though, things i haven't even begun to really learn, that autocad didn't have, like built in animation and game engines, more like 3ds and maya and lightwave, rather then engineering drafting programs which is what autocad (which is NOT free, but is in the 3 to 6 kilobux range, that i only had because it was given to me as a wedding present) after all is. i think my other favorite free stuff is joining galleries and forums on the net. which is/are, the only reason i get on here, on the web that is, at all. i think e-bussiness e-sucks, but to each their own if that's what someone is into. tv is boring crap too if you've got any sort of a creative mind at all, at least what i think of as creative, which isn't all that mainstream mundaneness horsepuckkie. =^^= .../\...
hey...how can i get in on this..? and on the note of feeling like shit, which was what i thought the title said at first..i feel like shit, and like i'm gonna i hope i don't work tonight...
Wow. I thought that getting shit in your box would be kind of depressing. But if it's free then I guess.
I used to sign up for those free samples a lot, but most of the time they would never come so I gave up.
