I'll help you! I actually speak Latin! Omnia praeclara rara! Caesar Pompeio victo in Asiam profectus est!
that is so nice of you. Jelena, do you ever wonder what would have happened if the roman empire had never fallen?
Wooow... Now I do! I don't know... Maybe they would be dictators and bad people because they'd be too powerful... But the world woudn't be much different, I suppose. What do you think?
it'd be so very different... 1. there'd be no english as we know it, only a regional dialect of latin.. 2. england would replicate italy a lot more only colder 3. there may never have been world war 1 or 2 at all.... 4. no america 5. if there was america it'd be either japanese/far eastern or roman. 6. that would cause barely any inventions to be the same as the people who made them didnt exist holy crap
I think the world would have been much better than it is today, especially if you were a Roman. People would have a sense of continuity, a sense of a common, and past and there will be something to unite people. I think Rome will eventaully have to become a republic, like it once was... so won't have to worry about dictators and such. I wonder how rome would have looked.... what would have happened to roman europe. I think America would have been a Roman Colony.
yeah but there would still be uprises because people who weren't citizens of rome wouldn't really be treated very well..
I have a quite an admiration for the ancient Romans. Rome started degrading when Tiberius killed Germanicus.
I think you're very intelligent, Infinite sign guy! ;p You're probably right... Wow, and what about art... I think it would be very interesting. Maybe the whole world would be one happy, united place! Or not... People are bad.
personally i think that a lot of things wouldnt have happened like the industrial revolution meaning there wouldnt be the same kind of energy that we have today. there would have been no british empire as britain would be a part of rome... however it wouldnt last because nothing lasts...
yeah, there would have been struggles, and there would have been intrigues, it was a part of roman life... but hopefully, good would have won out. but there would not have been complacency and the loss of nobility. In a world ruled by rome, the vulgar would not have prevailed over the just and noble. And then, think of the scientific advancement...
