I've been losing teeth in dreams for as long as I can remember. No blood or pain involved. I'm always simply standing somewhere and start spitting teeth into my hand and getting very upset. My dentists have told me that this is a VERY COMMON dream. I always thought it was triggered by older relatives with bad teeth who would comment on how pretty mine were every time I saw them, and I was worried one day they wouldn't be so pretty. This thread is the first time I've ever heard ANYONE ELSE share this same dream! Good to know I'm not alone, even though my current dentist has said his patients tell him the same thing quite often.
I had a dream today I was at an ass parade. No joke, people on stilts, confetti, shakin' their butts! It was pretty awesome. I recognized some of the people

Hi, Dreaming about losing you teeth is pretty common. Other common dreams about teeth are when you see your teeth fall out. Nothing to be afraid of: Usually, these dreams are related to anxiety or concerns you have in your waking life and are useful to determine what's causing this anxiety and how to remedy it. The main meanings for dreams about losing teeth are: - You are concerned about losing something important to you - You're going through life changes (for instance, you're moving, starting a new job, a new relationship) and it feels unfamiliar - There's a concern over something you have said or not said - You've made a decision that you regret - Concerns about your physical image or how people view you Here is the dream interpretation of losing teeth in a nutshell. As said by others, a very common dream element. I can come up with some more interpretations: Feeling powerless (toothless), concerns on fading beauty, fear of social deroute, but also the positive life changes and maturing, as changing teeth is a bit of a rite of passage in western culture. I cannot recall ever having this dream, but I can generally never remember my dreams for more than a few minutes after waking up.
