    naw, peoples used to think taht sneezing was your soul trying to escape and saying "bless you" would shove it back into your body so the devil couldn't get it. ;)

    Didn't you ever see that Simpsons episode where someone sneezes and Milhouse says you have to say "bless You" because your soul's trying to escape and saying bless you crams it back in there?

    I don't know how reliable that source is, but shhhh....
