i just saw my uterus

i just saw my uterus, bladder, and kidneys on an ultra sound for the first timei feel so privileged

 

I've never had a view of my innards... no medical situation which necessitated the picture taking. Did you learn anything new about yourself?

nope i didnt learn anything...my "results" have to be reviewed and what not. it was interesting watching everything move as i took breaths i was amazed by the technology

For a minute I thought you were going to say you were expecting! That's the only time I've had ultrasounds so that was my first reaction!

 

nope not that

 

I had one on my balls, cause I had a lump (which turned out to be veins) the doc was very serious, so wasn't amused when I asked if he could tell if it was a boy or girl, however the nurse laughed

ive seen my insides quite a few times, my spleen was swollen once, that was pretty freaky cos i could feel it in my body all of a sudden. ive had the heart monitor thing done as well and the cardiogram i got back from it had lines all over the shop

i always get my dad to ultra sound me but its bad cos he stands there silently and i always think something wrong..

 

I can only imagine how bad he feels standing there praying he'll find nothing wrong with his daughter. That's a nightmare feeling.

Hope you are alright KJ. Are the doctors looking for something imparticular? Are you in any pain?

 

not anymore. ive been sick for the past few 4 weeks or so with a number of things. they were checking for a kidney infection and something else i think but my ultra sound came back clear
