I know, huh? I've been looking for something cheap and then I saw this one with 83XXX miles! Put the key in and boom! first crank started right up. She does need a little tlc. Carb adjustment etc. and I do need to register and smog her b/c registration ran out december but hearing the engine and smelling the exhaust it shouldn't be too hard.
lol sort of. it works great until you try to close it, then you lose a finger holding the return spring down so it doesn't leak. works tho... it's power everything. this car was the bomb when i was 6!
an '85 mazda 626 lx with only 83k miles on it. I was stoked. payed less than $700. *edit* did I mention I can spehl
she got tired... waaaaay tired. so many things needed work that it was just time to move on. so I'll get rid of her to somebody who's got more time and money than me. *edit* she is after all a '77 BMW over 243,000 miles. Just pulled a one ton trailer 3000 miles. I'd say she's earned her rest.
LOL...I just re-read the thread and you said "carburetor"....I cant remember the last car I had that wasnt fuel injected......our salty roads up here eat up all the cars
