Why is that a shame? More power to her for being the one to decide what happens when!

Well from his point of view it may be. I would say it was a shame if my boyfriend didn't...like doing certain things....but I would say more power to him for expressing it.

Maybe you should just set a day to spend all day together. While you at it, check this link;)

My girlfriend experiences pain sometimes, but I'm sure it's just because she's 5'3" and a teeny little thing. We've decided to go extra extra slow for at least the first half hour of fucking :] . And I think I'll invest in some KY.. Maybe you should do the same.

I read this thread with great interest, Shane...my first thought screamed out 'she isn't ready for sex!!!'. I'm totally with MamaTheLama, on this!

She accepts your fingers, so it doesn't appear to be an issue of size as such...only when you go for three fingers, she stops you in pain. You are her first partner, so maybe she isn't stretched and ready for 3 fingers yet, which is fine. But then you went on to explain that as soon as you try to penetrate her, she stops you as it 'stings'.

She could have a medical problem that is stopping her from relaxing, or any number of medical reasons, and it is worth her getting checked out (suggest it to her, but don't bully or pressure her into seeing someone). However, I'm going to hedge my bets on my plain simple instinct - she isn't ready for real penetrative sex yet.

Talk to her - really talk to her about how she feels about sex...and reassure her - lots, and let her know (if indeed you feel that way) that you are prepared to wait, and just stick to other forms of sexual enjoyment....don't rush it....she'll be ready when she's ready.

If she wants to - and let her make the choice here, focus more on finding ways of gaining mutual sexual satisfaction and contact, without penetration, or oral (doesn't sound like she's ready for that either) and see what happens. What have you got to lose, when you have everything to gain.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.

her size in compaison to your size might be an issue--she may not be deep enough to contain you, this has happened with me and a woman once. it was sad, though she did not hurt...it was just difficult

The first time I did it I went down on him slowly and it was a burning sensation (dunno what/why though) but after that it was just fine. Damn was that night hot....
