I can't even remember when the last time was. I'm not doing it to make any kind of statement, I just don't feel like it and my boyfriend doesn't seem to mind. I didn't even think about it anymore, except the other day I somehow managed to shrink a pair of my jeans and they kept riding up on me at work, so I had to constantly adjust them when I got up from my desk...
Oh yeah I hate that, I shave in the summer but usually only shave every two weeks to once a month in the winter. but I have been rolling the bottom of my jeans up and wearing them with ankle boots so theres like an inch of ankle showing, and I usually forget about my hairy ankles until I'm out in public and its too late to do anything about it
I adjusted my pants because they rode up so high you could see my hairy legs Side note about readjusting leg hairs though: tight pants kind of end up buffing my leg hairs off completely over time.
Not shaving or waxing or whatever is disgusting. But we live in a "everything goes" culture, so you're good.
Maybe those that convinced women to shave are the same ones that convinced them that high heels make sense.
I thought the women of the 60s-70s that didn't shave OR wear a mask of commercial chemicals on their faces were fantastic. You could actually SEE who they were.
Shaving is just a cultural thing, or rather an overall societal thing since it seems pretty common in most cultures now - but there is nothing disgusting about not shaving. I dont walk around with hairy legs on display (at least intentionally ) but I still think the concept that women HAVE to shave or they're gross is incredibly silly. Shaving has only been common since..what..the 1920s? I would assume the 20s since that's when shorter hemlines became acceptable. So only 100 years or so, does that mean every woman who lived before 1920 was disgusting? Hair is perfectly natural, we all have it.
... *runs out to find a fire somewhere* I like where this is going. So I'm guessing you don't want to see my armpits? I don't wear makeup either, it makes my skin itchy.
Epilate saves the bother.? Eventually they just don't grow much at all...so if you guys like a hairy chest, don't epilate..
Jane got rid of her leg hairs by rolling her jeans up when stomping out friends bonfire out after the fireworks. She said that it was less painful than waxing her legs and it also saved burning the frays off her Levi's..
I've always wanted a little trained monkey to do the job of shaving my legs. I still haven't gotten one.
I shave my legs regularly, but I think it's cool when women decide not to do it. If you look at it objectively, it's a strange and unnatural behavior.
Yeah, that's pretty much me. I recognize that it is odd, unnatural and also completely unnecessary. But I do it anyway. However, back when I was living in New England, sure, winters could be a bit sketchy. If there was a chance of getting lucky, then I'd shave. Absolutely. But most of the time I'd just wrap myself head to toe in winter clothing like a mummy from November to March and go home alone. So the only person I was shaving for was me. So, I may have let myself go a tad...
