I can relate to you fairlywell. I've been smoking for a little more than a year now, and for a year daily. Since the beginning of this year, I've had to stop occasionally for weeks at a time for court reasons. Since last summer until the beginning of this year, I've been pretty much daily smoking and have gotten fairly lazy in most things, although it was already there to begin with, just not as strong. I munched waay too much and gained about 25 pounds. When I had to quit for the first time in January, I realized that daily marijuana definately changed the way I lived my life. I stopped munching so hard...hehe, and slowly began to throw off the fat that I put. Now i'm about back to normal, but since I've been quitting off and on, when I start again I go back to my old daily ways. I think I'm starting to realize that for me, daily marijuana isn't healthy. It's summer vacation for me right now, and I'm going into my senior year. I had to quit again a few days ago because I have my last trial this week. If I win the trial, I'll probably start smoking again. I feel that it's so easy to slip back into those old ways though, and now that I've been sober for a complete day and a half, my mind is a lot clearer. By the way, over the last year I've had a hard time concentrating, most likely due to the weed. So I'm not really sure what to do. Maybe I won't worry about it now, but when I go back into the school year, I'll slow down. But see, when I look at it that way, that means that weed affects me negatively. Why should I smoke it often now when I could be spending my time filling my young mind with knowledge? It's hard for me to decide what to do...

I hear ya! I mean, i totally loved getting mashed and all, but when something is affecting your life in a bad way like weight gain, laziness, being unsocialable etc. You no it's time to nip it in the bud! (No pun intended! lol) I wish i had the will power to be a weekend smoker but if it's in the house it's just too damn tempting! I plan to become a total pot head recluse when im in my 60's so i can enjoy a guilt free smoke! ;)

I know what you mean EXACTLY. It makes perfect sense to me to smoke occasionally, in fact, when you smoke occasionally, I think you can get the best out of both worlds. I have the same problem as you though, I feel like I'm either not smoking or smoking, and when I'm smoking...I do it too much.
