I heard that theres two types of mono...One that goes away and one that stays with you for life. Sorry if that scares ya,just telling you what I've heard. Should of stayed away from those dirty boYz!:troll:
well it's not aids or anythin.. most kids get it.. and you do kee the virus for life but it's only active for a fe months, making you sick for a few weeks.. the older you are when you get it the more dangerous it can be though..
is this general the case with mono or do you have complications with your spleen ? did they check it with an ultrasonic or something ?
I wouldn't say "most kids get it" haha But yay for it not being aids. that's always a good thing. Seriously, feel better soon. It's just mono. It sucks but you're fine. Just give yourself nice dreams.
well not most kids as in... most kids... but it's usually kids who get it... as an answer to messing around with dirty boys... hehe could also have gotten it from the kids I babysitted... if they recently got it and drank out of the same glass as me, they're like 4 they drool everywhere lol
btw I do feel much better with the vitamins, magnesium and pain killers... it's like day and night compared to how I felt yesterday or this morning even...
yeah I sleep like 70% of the time... what a waste of time but I can't help it besides I wanna feel as good as possible before my trip to Paris!! I just hope nothing serious happens while I'm there... doing a lot of walking... and riding rides in Dineyland... my doctor told me if I get pain under my left breast, immediately go to the emergency room could be spleen could die if not taken care of and could happen quite easily too... a little alarming but...
Your body is fighting something and the sleep gives it strength to do the battle... it most certainly is NOT wasted time.
of course.. I know it's serious.. it's just that... it's my summer, geesh!! But I know I know... I just really wish this would happen during exams instead haha like that, good excuse to get an incomplete!
the one that stays with you for life doesn't stay contagious though. I have the EB14 one that stays with you for life and usually causes chronic fatigue syndrome and I def don't have chronic fatigue and I haven't passed mono on in over a year. Stop scaring Penny!!!!!!!
get some good books, frozen yogurt, juice and take your pain pills. take it seriously or you might be able to handle school in the fall. I am not kidding it takes sooooo long to get better from this if you don't take care of yourself. HUGS
haha thanks bella.. I will take it easy well.. as much as I can! Taking 6 classes next semester, including 1 chemistry one.. gonna be hard!! AND I have all this visa shit to take care of, get an extension etc. it's gonna be a busy busy busy fall oh and I am gonna HAVE to get a job too.. parents can't support car insurance anymore.. I'm just not gonna have time for myself anymore!!
