I take driving seriously, I know what can happen and I know I will do anything I can to stop anything bad happening.
How many times will you contradict yourself in this thread? Doing anything you can to stop anything bad happening? Yeah, it's called not driving recklessly lol
At 20,000 miles with an average speed of 55 mphs you will have spent approximately 363.7 hrs. driving. It is said to take 10,000 hours of practice to become truly virtuous at anything.
Speeding aint good. I remember i reached the peak of my oddessy van and Holy Shit it definatly wasnt a smart idea. Dumb as hell....Speaking of dmt, how are one of those trips? Is is like short or long or shazamish?
Interesting thing is, Fresh, just about everyone on this thread has taken a lot of risks - a lot more than the average person - so nobody is preaching from some hypocritical better-than-you stance. Last summer I came solo over one of the passes in the distance in the below photo and I celebrated my 65th birthday further up the basin, so, you know, I'm not quite done yet either. Anyway, take it easy man, think about some of what some (at least usually) fairly reasonable people have said about endangering others. Nameste
Lol itsallgood, trying to go fast in a van is wreckless. And yeah the trips are very short but its a nice long afterglow. Liquid, I was not surprised at the responses I got, I know they are just trying to look out for people, hurting anybody is the lowest thing on my agenda and has always been.
I have a rule that I don't breech 100mph unless I am wearing a helmet, I say anything under 100mph is playful banter and in the right situations are safe on public roads. But that's when there are no big turns, no traffic, not during business hours ect. I just say that driving 120mph in the winter is a dumb move. I live where there are some of the worst road conditions and drive around pulling dumb asses out of the ditch for fun when I get bored driving around in my truck I had. But one of those dumb asses pulled out in front of me this year and totalled my truck.. At least save it for the summer when there are better conditions. eace:
See positive you have the most respectful replies thank you for that. I have gone up to like 80-90 mph on wet roads before, but thats as fast as I have gone on them, and it was kinda dumb. The conditions that day when I did 120 were very decent, as you can tell if the road is wet and it was dry as the desert. So once again, I use my best judgement for the conditions on the road.
I have DMT right MEOW! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNwCojCJ3-Q"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNwCojCJ3-Q
