(really though, you got yourself one hell of a ticket fresh, its yours and if the possibilty of crashing isnt good enough motivation to chill, perhaps the possibility/probability of future fines is. their just gonna get bigger and bigger)

See, this is the most legit post here, unlike porkstock and neo, you aren't giving me shit. For that, I give mad props.
I know defensive driving of course. It is how I always drive whether or not I am going fast. The thing is, everywhere I drive really fast, there are no "roads" connecting the road I am on for people to pull in front of me. So the only thing that could happen is if there was a driver in the oncoming that went over to my side.
Its really fuckin weird that you mention people pulling in front of me like that, the area I am at now, my street has alot of roads connecting the main road, so I do have to worry about people pulling in front of me. I say it's weird because last night actually, at 7 oclock I was driving up my street, doing about 50-60 mph (small road) kinda curvey, and there was an idiot just like we are talking about, I was just about to drive past him, (probably her) and her car was about to pull out, all this I had to react in less than a second, but I quickly jammed on the brakes, and would have prevented that collision even though I was way above speed limit because I saw what was going to happen way in the distance. It is way easier at night though, because you can see the car's lights so you know where they are. Right as I braked and saved us first though, the car finally saw me just as she was pulling out, so she would have saved it in this case anyways.
But yeah, I don't go over a 100 mph very often anymore.

But yeah I think of everyone's life as if it was my own, so I do whatever I can to save my life.

yeah, sorry fresh, you just completely confuse me 'cause in the same breath you say you do whatever you can to save your own life, but then you do something reckless like speed. you just constantly contradict yourself. it's truly bizarre.

Its astonishing how people don't understand the art of driving. When you are driving, and you are confident, it's like you own the road, like the road is your home, and you are the car. I love everything, nature, colors, life, energy. All of those things are in driving. Thats the point you get to experience the world in a way that only other drivers can. Drivers understand each other, they understand the passion for it all. That is why it is so great themanonthehill is here with me, we understand that awesomeness is what we want in life. That is my favorite thing about driving is the scenery, and when you go fast the scenery just gets better and better.

Well then you aren't getting the full driving experience. Thats just what driving is, thats why its an art because you have to take risks. The faster the riskier.

Only on a closed track is this condition even remotely possible. You are simply playing the time game. The question is not whether or not you will kill someone but when.

God. Alright if I ever try to go as fast as I can I will go to a fuckin track alright? First I need money to do that, which I am already in debt 1000 dollars for the ticket, so basically getting the ticket is keeping me from going to a track.

The point is that there is a world full of roads, and just going to one track to drive you aren't going to get very much experience. Mabey if you are a rich traveler, you can go to a whole bunch of different tracks, that would be pretty sweet indeed, but still, there are so many things off the closed tracks that will give you driving experience. To drive on public roads takes more skill, and builds more experience, because you have to be ready for anything at all.

Ha, it's $20 for a test n tune day. That's a hell of alot cheaper than 1k to go fast.. See what I'm saying.

    Have fun being risky.

I have already looked into it before and it is generally like 200-400 dollars to drive on the track.

I know I have more fun than most people.

Anyways most of the time I want to drive for fun lately, I play forza3, because that game is so good that it feels like you are really driving almost. But real driving is better of course. I pretend its real when I'm playing it though thats what makes it so fun.

How many miles have you driven? As far as driving competency, it is much like any other practice. The more you do it the more accomplished you become. If you were an airline pilot, I would be reluctant to hire you at this point.
