sorry to hear that you are sick RDH and MH, get well soon! nasal spray is really good if you've got congestion. oxymetazoline hcl worked well for me at least if you are able to breathe through your nose and sleep comfortably, I think it helps a lot with recovery. from my book on chinese medcine: now is a good time to eat warm, nourishing, easily digested foods avoid anything served cold or raw. also avoid eggs and soy. if you have phlegm, dairy products, sugar, pork, almond, honey, and peanut should be avoided just thought I'd share
I was just introduced to nyquil this past week. I don't really like taking meds. I feel like I'm in the matrix though and I have to choose which color pill I want..the dayquil (red/orange) or the nyquil (blue).
Yeah, I've been hitting the nasal spray at night. It's the only way to get to sleep. But I gotta really watch that. I've had a sinus surgery before and these nasal sprays are really destructive. When I did my surgery, I had to laugh because the ENT lectured and lectured me about nasal spray but you have to take a couple of hits from one before they can operate. Mildly ironic.
I too, also have a cold:frown:. It does suck, and I feel like I sound funny when I talk because my nose is all stopped up.
if it comes on suddenly, that's the flu. i tell you the truth. you said it came on suddenly, so it is no simple cold you have, but the flue. It will run it's course in due time, drink plenty of liquids and rest a lot. be patient and be well.
^ you may be right about that. it was so mild though. it was only really bad for about 2 or three days. even then, I didn't have any stomach troubles or coughing oh, and thank you
