Somehow, yes. For example it is illegal to look at or own a photographic image of the Dalai Lama. The young people in general however do not care that much about religion. Older people go on with their business as usual carrying their prayer wheels and monks are limited in numbers in monasteries and carefully watched by the Chinese government.
I hope that people and "leaders" collectively act with wisdom one day; a dream, I know, but a worthy dream. Make good with what we have. Sounding presumptuous; going out on a limb: Do you have any ideas, that are OK to share, about what you want to do in the distant future with you self; with your knowledge and wisdom ?
My knowledge and wisdom? It is impossible to do something with something you do not have, but for myself: I will probably still be me; a lazy person trying to run away from responsibilities and just enjoy life.
As I said, "going out on a limb." To me, however, from the "apparently" small amount of data exchanged and sampled (have enjoyed some of your other posts, especially your humor) you sound as if you actually have significant wisdom. wisdom that I now sense you'll never acknowledge that you might have; which is probably a good thing, no need to respond to this. Maybe you know that we function best when we do what we are really "trying" to do naturally, when we do "what we love to do." Or tend to this by listening to the self, to the wind.
BirdMigration, Did not mean to throw a curve, am serious. Good to hear about your experiences, good to connect. Peace and Love, David
BirdMigration strikes me as someone with a deep and dry sense of humor, look back at some of the posts; subtle. I thought his looking for incense was especially funny.
that reminds me that Beatles' song.. "You say yes, I say no, you say stop... but I say go go gooo... oh nooo.. you say good bye and I say hello"
if I want to see other signatures however I'm screwed also if yours is turned off anyway why the fuck should we be subjected to yours?
yeye.. sorry, honey )) anyways, be happy I haven't said something.. ehm... worse anyways, beatles rock, be happy
and the thread is mislead...plus it's so NOT stupid, it was theraputic for me, it served its purpose.
It is important that we learn to be 'civil' with one another, to tend to cause mutually beneficial interaction even with those who we feel repelled from.
