walmart sells cheap shit cheap. i have found on most things your better off going somewhere and spending the extra money for quality. walmart shit tends to fall apart or unravel at the seams after only a few uses.. "you get what you pay for" and with walmart that statement couldnt ring truer.
The people who 'hate' it but still go there because it's advantageous are one of the biggest problems of western society.
I was thinking about taking out one of these trees cause I get no sun Im sort of in a divot, this year is bad for small gardens cause the weather has been so cool, I have vines that would normally be to the roof now, not even up the steps yet.. 52F last night.. :toetap05: I got mushies that keep stalling too, cant hold naturally in the 80's with 60 nights...
btw I havent been to a WMD store, since I took back my vac and traded it for $70 in dog food.. it was winter.. i think ,, I made a post in consumer tread about the vacuum i got from walmart,, It was junk and was said to be for pet hair. It didnt do nothing but make more mess. I get really pissed off if I have to take brand new vac apart and get dirt all over the place. And only carpet dust could make me the most mad.. I fucking hate carpet dust!!
our gardens were planted at our normal time and are easily 3 weeks behind because of the weather. even down here we had 40's and 50's at night till a couple weeks ago. that keeps the soil temps cool and the growth slow. i would do whatever i could or had too to supplement your food orison. once inflation kicks in its going to be brutal on those living on a budget..
Amen Brother, Here is what I do when I go the wallyfart, I must because that is the closes store from here (100 miles) I tell the clerks to unionize, I tell that the the managers also. Fuck the oppressors, they use slave workers in China and slave workers here in the states. If you must shop there give the enslaved workers some cheer, tell them to unionize. Peace Dan
i do most of my grocery shopping at walmart. we can get a month's supply of food for two adults and one teen for about $50-60 USD
My goodness, I just couldn't imagine spending that little on groceries for a month. We average at least $100.00 per week, sometimes less, sometimes more, and I do a lot of bulk shopping, coupon clipping, sales shopping. Course, that's a family of 5...2 adults and 3 kids. Still though, I wish we could get our monthly grocery spending down. I'd love that (as I'm sure my husband's wallet would too!) I printed up a graph not long ago to track our grocery spending over the past three years. Surprisingly it hasn't gone up all that much, which was shocking, I had anticipated it being a lot higher what with the grocery price spikes we've had. I guess I must be doing something right somewhere? But man, I'd love to have a lower bill, I know that much. Anyway.
i find it hard to believe, in fact i call bullshit that someone only spends 60 bucks a month on groceries for three unless they have a huge garden. or they eat a very unhealthy unbalanced diet of crap like ramen..
actually we eat very healthy and complete meals. the only thing we buy after our walmart trip is meat for the week, and that's only b/c we can't fit everything in the fridge at once. we only eat chicken, turkey, and fish. maybe red meat and prok is more expensive????
please list a typical shopping list for a months groceries (approximate package sizes would be nice as well ) .. i am having trouble believing this.. i hope you understand..
Shit, I waste 60$ a week on groceries just for myself. Nothing is stopping me from living the good life though.
I spend on average anywhere from $60 to $100 every two weeks on groceries. And we still have a shit diet. Happens when you're a picky eater with texture issues. I suppose I'd get over that if I was starving, but being a newly responsible "adult", I can eat what I want and I take advantage of that. I'm not fat or unhealthy, and what with all these dooms dayers, I might as well be happy in case it does happen. :leaving:
sorry, i don't keep a detailed list in order to defend my shopping habits. you can believe it if you choose to. we get maybe $400 in food stamps each month and barely any of it is used. so i use the rest while i am working to buy small lunches for myself b/c i am too lazy in the morning to pack one with the food we have at home. we sell the rest. lulz
although, like i said we buy meat seperately b/c we don't hve the room. and it's cheaper at save-a-lot. 5 packages of meat for $20. one package is like 12 wings, or 6 breasts, or 3 lbs of ground turkey, or 8 drumsticks. so, that deal is nice.
In my opinion Wal-mart sells the same brands any other store sells. What cheap shit are you referring to?
caveat emptor besides, only an idiot would buy a walmart brand piece of clothing and expect it to stay together.
