i dislike video games because many of them are very violent now days. its teaching kids [younger and younger now] that violence is okay. or that its acceptable. even if its only sub-consciously. and consciously, even if they are aware that its wrong, they still build up a tolerance for it. not just from video games but from movies and television as well. and then when they see real violence happening it doesnt really bother them. because that tolerance kicks in. it makes me sad. :[ but DDR and guitar hero and super mario are awesome. :]
:[ this is sad. question though, when you try to talk to him about it, how are you going about it? its never good to accuse people of things or get angry because they put up a wall of defense. so if you havent already, try talking to him by letting him know how you feel. :] good luck.
I agree. I found out that life with less use of technology makes my mind more open and clear to think. Without it, I feel more closer to the life I'm living in and the people in it. Technology is okay, but I refuse to use it for more than an hour a day. But I'll stop to play a song or two on beatles rockband every once in a while.
