exactly...why the hell does society expect me to be a mom, a wife, cook, clean and work full-time? I say no thanks to the potential of a nervous breakdown. i have the experience and education to support myself so i won't be screwed if i get left, but i am sure as hell not working once i start popping babies out.

and i would not be attracted to any guy who had to ask my permission for something. if you're not responsible enough to make good choices for yourself -with our family in mind then you have no buisness marrying me imo because i deserve the best and deserve the opportunity to give my future husband and kids the best.

It's my opinion...that the term "feminist" is pretty lame.
If you're for gender equality, say you're for gender equality... not feminism. The term feminism almost completely defeats the purpose behind it.

Do you define thinking for yourself as being bullied into doing something because it would be "degrading to women" if you did the opposite? Thinking for yourself means deciding if you want to do something or not. It doesn't mean letting someone else decide for you. Chauvinism says, "a woman's place is in the home", while feminism says, "a woman's place is in the workforce." What's the difference? They're both just telling you what to do. Everyone's place is "wherever they want to be." That's it.
