Yeah it seems like the most logical solution to unemployment doesn't it. Maybe there also wouldn't be so many work shy fops in the world if we all didn't have to work so many days of our lives. Share the work loads, share the wealth.
I know what you mean. I have to work on Sundays sometimes, and when I'm not called at work I have to finish something for Monday or next week, or study something...
I usually work on Sundays. Most Sundays here are slow, but yesterday (July 6th) was crazy at work....probably cuz it was the end of a holiday weekend.
When I worked two jobs I worked every weekend and during the week, I worked all the time and even then I didn't really care too much that I had to work on Sundays cause it was money in my pocket...
Could you let Jesus know of my baceterial problem that I am having... I need some advice and Anne Landers and Dear Abby are no help, they refuse to answer this for me...
It is not the working I have a problem with, it is the getting there and back. All services are terrible on a Sunday. Lots of people have to work on Sundays, but everything is on a go slow, or just not happening on a Sunday. I should not have to walk for TWO HOURS, just because it is a Sunday.
Some people have to walk more than TWO HOURS every day to get to work and back..be glad you only have to walk the one day... Besides, why do you think you were given the gift of legs, certainly not for looks...
Yes, I appreciate I am lucky it is one day of the week. I appreciate I don't have to walk for work, food or water every day. But, living in a country where I don't particularly have to, it seems bizarre I have to.
It really doesn't seem bizarre at all... If it bothers you that much that you have to walk on Sundays then maybe you should find another alternative if you really hated walking that much.. I'm not trying to be mean or nothing but things could be worse really... But I do understand your frustrations and wanting to vent I guess.. I'm just saying cheer up chap, it's not the end of the world...
To be fair, I did start this thread after I got home from walking home. I do normally use my bike (it is broken). So normally, I'm home in 30 minutes. It still does wind me up that one day of the week, just because of Jesus, lots of people have to figure an alternative to public transport. I have to lug all my gear on my back (rucksack) and it is just a chore. Yes, things could be worse, no, it is not the end of the world, and maybe I am being childish about this, you do not have to agree with me, I'm just putting the thought out there.
I agree. Jesus is mean. Maybe Jesus would like to carry my stuff on his back, rather than that huge bit of wood.
