The PRINCIPLE of the situation is that you borrowed $500 from your dad, who was kind enough to lend it to you, and now you have to pay him back. He decides when you pay him back, because it's HIS money. If you can't pay him back, then get on your knees and suck his dick.

What you need to do, is tell your dad thanks for giving a shit and that you will pay him the rest of his money this week, even if it means you don't buy any weed for a while, because you do what you have to do. If paying him back is as much of a problem as you're making it out to be, you should've been man enough to turn down his money, in the first place.

Now that I think about it, he's probably helping to put you through school too. I may be wrong about that, but even so, you're being extremely ungrateful to a man who, apparantly, loves you.

It's not that big of a deal to pay back 500. I make 500 a week. But at this juncture i got 3 bills at once that needed to be payed. I maybe had like 150 in my account, so i needed all the moeny i could get to pay some bills to i could have electricity and such. I think he could have been more understanding and compassionate towards my situation. I just felt it was a bit selfish of him to demand money like that when he knows my financial status. It's over with now, im no longer mad or whatever, but i also have not spoken to him since. We'll see what happens though.

and i totaly agree with you legal-lies. you were just venting, and your dad shoulldnt be nagging you about 500 dollers when you already paid him 200, besides that, your only 21, and have done well for yourself so far. so he should just lay off and give you at least a month to pay him back.

 

I had sympathy for the OP up until i read you spent over 1300 on pot recently... Unless thats you're job, that was a bad use of your "limited" money.

 

I was kicked out of my home today, but my aunt and uncle have agreed to let me stay with them for a while. I'm glad to hear you got everything taken care of, and I'm sorry if I was insensitive. It just kills me to see/hear/read of people being ungrateful when someone gives them money and then get mad when they have to pay them back.
