Well... what I find ironic is how my family is scattered about the Appalachian southern states... and the only union state where I have blood related family is North Dakota (wtf ). I was born in Alaska though, but this is the only region I really know. It's the only region I can travel in without a roadmap or any real directions. Though, I live in Virginia... I'm a bit more partial to North Carolina, as a state. I only like portions of Virginia. The mountains, Fredericksburg, and Virginia Beach.
i have family in virginia. north dakota? who the hell lives in/wants to live in ND? but yeah, i'm in alabama.
as far as i know, i've got family in alaska, virginia, california, alabama, florida, south carolina, new jersey and pennsylvania and over in europe, they are all over the place i have been told. in the czech republic, slovakia, wales, ireland, scottland, and poland. and my last name is czechoslovakian. i also have some cherokee/creek indian in me. i've got some really high cheekbones. but maybe that czech, too, i really don't know.
Yeah, I can always tell where people are from in the states by this kinda info. Haha, I'm partial Cherokee/Seminole/Algonquin. My Seminole ancestors took in black slaves during the civil war... that's how the first "Seminole Nation" started. I'm also descended from the Powhatan Confederacy (John Rolfe thus being one of my grandfathers, as well as Chief Powhatan, and Pocahontas, which may also make me related to Wayne Newton)... and I've lived about five miles from Chief Powhatan's supposed former-compound most of my life, except for when I lived in NC. My friend's grandfather owns Powhatan's Chimney and leases it to the state of VA and the national historical registry... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powhatan Just to the left of that tree, in this sunken area, is where John Smith was almost decapitated. Meg (moonjavaseed) is one of his descendents.
wow, that's really cool. pochantas was always one of my favorite disney movies when i was a kid. how did your grandfather get powhatan's chimney?
My friend's grandfather.... It's been in his family since they immigrated from Ireland, over a hundred years ago. Though, my grandfather owned a farm that used to be part of the chief's parcel, as well. Our house on it was built in 1775 and had been hit by artillery in the revolutionary and civil wars.
that's fascinating. i wish i had history of my house. i just have wild pot growing in my backyard, lol.
Smith. I just find it strange that Wayne Newton is also descended from the same group. He lives here in Virginia, when he's not in Vegas. The Blue Oyster Cult also had a big ranch here in Virginia.
I had wild pot growing in mine. When I got my Jetta, I found weed in the center console. The car salesman was this young black dude and he, my dad, and myself all started laughing when we looked in it... I kept the weed.
Yeah, and when I was getting my license, last year, my driving instructor was also Bruce Hornsby's childhood friend... It's so ridiculous when it comes to connecting things, because I always have some way of connecting a person to something. People point that out to me alot, but I'm just like "well.. I don't know, but sometimes bela fleck and victor wooten played at Busch Gardens, in Williamsburg, when I was little"
It was dro. Old dro, at that. It had dried out, but I just added some lime/orange peels to it and kept it in a mason jar for a day or so and it was fine. (It was about an eighth)
NO WAY! i feel sad now. hmmm... i did have ludacris bump into me on the moving sidewalks at the atlanta airport... but i hate rap music so i didnt really care. and all my friends were mad about me not getting an autograph from him, lol. and i did meet john reznik from the goo goo dolls. i won backstage & VIP tickets to one of their shows.
well, at least it was hydro, lol. did it taste citrusy afterwards? kind of makes me wanted orange kush. and hadd orange peels to it. to make really orangey.
Orange kush or Orange Krush/Crush? People get those mixed alot. But I've thought of that too. If someone really wanted to, they could take some alright looking herbs and cure them with citrus or orange peels and try to sell it off as some crazy citrus strain.
ahhh that's horrible though. orange... kush. yeah, kush... i think? i could be wrong though. i've only smoked (whatever it was) once. and i loved it and i never found it again. this was a little over four years ago.
That sounds like kush, but there are also orange crush strains which are easier to find. I love orange kush, though. Mine was hydro and came in little seedless popcorn nuggets. I have never found anything better tasting than alot of flavored kush strains. Coconut or pineapple kush is really nice, but hard to find. As far as best tasting to availability ratios go, I'd say grape kush is my favorite...
