I hate anti Tobacco people...

I dont smoke cigarettes much because they dont even taste that good and the effects are shitty. The only tobacco i smoke are blunt wraps and the occasional cigarette or black and mild.

 

Eh, I'm glad I don't smoke cigs really. Occasionally when I drink, but not much. I used to more often, but I never 'nneeded' them. Extra expense I don't need and health.

every smoker I have known that has kicked the bucket was also a heavy drinker, no doubt cause of death was attributed to the smoking .. not the pint of Vodka they downed every night...

granted it not a healthy habit, but until they start taxing the booze to the same extent they do cigs... they are just blowing smoke up everyone's ass

 

Booze is already heavily taxed in Canada, along with smokes. $10 for a pack of good cigs and about $30 for a 24 of decent beer...which is why I prefer weed. $30 of weed lasts alot longer then $30 of beer.

 

Well it's certainly disproportional here in the US. Booze is cheap and it's killing more than just the drunk ...but hey tax the smoker... it's like invading Iraq when the terrorist were Saudis..????????

But cigarettes are far more addictive then alcohol is and most people can't responsibly smoke for 40 years, eventually just about everyone either stops or gets addicted

 

Hate to break it to you .. but most people can't drink responsibly either.

Cigs are addictive as hell.. but not too many smokers have plowed a car into a family and taken them out...booze fucks up your judgment big time.

Without a doubt ... before this day is over ... some drunk has wiped out a family on the highway... somewhere here in the US

This is true, but put into comparison the very vast amount of drunk people out there every night the numbers are still very small because most people do in fact drink responsibly or at least quasi responsible

 

I can go along with that to a point ..but the numbers aren't really relating it ...
while traffic fatalities have gone down.... the percentage of alcohol related fatalities have gone up... I'm inclined to say that they aren't looking the other way so much anymore

we used to go to this diner and drink chocolate milk and smoke cigarettes

it was fucking gross if you took a sip right after a hit, but other than that it was good haha

i don't support tobacco in general though... imo if you're a parent you should never be smoking around your kids even if they're too young to know what you're doing. it's a bad influence and generally kids with parents who smoke will end up smoking themselves.

i hope cigarettes die out over time... there's really no need.

 

don't forget my man that you have the right to choose where you want to live.

if you don't support the federal tax on it move to another country that doesn't tax it as heavily.

the government needs money right now and i'd rather see them raise the tax on cigarettes than raise the income tax.

 

I don't really give a fuck about cigarettes, they're unhealthy, don't get you high, taste like shit, and get you REALLY addicted to nothing.

Considering the health complications and the ever rising prices, I'd much rather be a non smoker (or just a social smoker, which I am)

 

I am mostly a social smoker. Occasionally I'll have a cigarette just to relax too.

What i'm talking about though, is people who force their opinion that smoking is horrible or disgusting or whatever. If I honestly cared, I wouldn't be standing around with a cigarette in my mouth.

 

I agree that the ban was wrong. Here in kasnas city you can't even smoke in bars, wtf?

The laws in NJ are ridiculousness. You can't really smoke anywhere but you're car or outside. Or in your house obviously. I know because my mom smokes. She's tried to quit like 5 times.

 

i love the smoking ban in restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, etc.
if i wanna go out to the bar and have a couple beers, i don't wanna do it in a cloud of cig smoke.

 

Yeah I like it at restaurants and I suppose bars. But I love smoking when I drink. Buuuut I can do without it too.

 

I'm ok with the restaurant ban I GUESS, but banning smoking from bars is just ridiculous, lets ban praying from churches and dogs from bark-parks while we're at it
