Chongqing has the largest population of a city proper in the world now. 30 million people, thats in just the city not the outer suburbs
I've never thought going to the "capital" city in any country was its true image of that nations culture. I rarely go to a capital city, but I can already tell that the rest of the UK is not similar to London. I watch a lot of property shows so I like to see districts and towns etc. Similar to Germany, if you want to see culture then you just wouldn't go to the cesspool of Berlin, I'd encourage Leipzig or Dresden, Munich even, but never Berlin and I believe I got a good taste of American culture by purposely skipping out on big city life. I understand big population cities in America are somewhat of a norm, but I believe I found a truer culture in places like Roanoke VA and Bristol TN etc. Asheville SC. Well more like a blue collar, working man culture.
I can't imagine why you came here in the first place. We have enough problems with the people that come here from someplace worse, we sure don't need people come here from some place better and bitching about us.

Did you recognize our home town.? It is Wimbledon and although on the borders with Surrey, it is still in London. People are often confused about London, since it is not a county. A popular pub quiz question is "what county is London in". Do you know the answer without researching it on Google.?
