"The heat come 'round and busted me for smiling on a cloudy day" I know the feeling. The cops around here are always screwing with me. I had a little truck, not to long back. It ran, drove, was liscenced and insured, but it was crappy and someone else loaned me a car to get my family around and such. So I had the truck parked on the side of the house for a couple of days. Any how, the neighbor, whom we refer to as Megawhore, called the cops on me. Not a big surprise, and not the first time. Anyhow, I come home from work, and pull up in front of my house, and see two cops over by my truck. One of the cops leave, and the other one starts chalking my tires. I went over to ask what the problem was. I talked in a friendly manner and asked "Is there a problem, officer" trying to be respctful. His responce was, one degree away from yelling mind you, "Yes, there is a problem, this is a junk abandoned vehicle, and you can't park it here, it has to be moved now! If it is still here in 24 hours I will impound it!!!!". Ok, the attitude took me a second, but I remained calm and politly asked, "How far do I need to move it?" His responce to this was to throw his arm out to his side in a very aggressive manner and shout "Are you tring to start a distubance!! We can handle this if you are!!!!" This really pissed me off, but I remained calm, and in a very nice way told him that I was happy to see that the police force is doing such a wonderful job handling us hardened criminals. Where were the witnesses with their cameras? Megawhore called the cops because she didn't like my shitty vehicle parked in front of her house, and now I make it a point to park there everyday. Tell me where to park, ha! Even if there is a spot directly in front of my house I park a house down just to rub it in, cause it's legal and there isn't shit she can do about it..

Power does strange things to people. So does seeing a lot of messed up stuff, which a lot of cops (Especially in the US) surely do. Let's hope they decide not to follow up the citation.

Got stopped for just nothin' once.

Wednesday, 5:00 pm, late spring. Me and my friends just walkin' around, laughin', havin' a good time. We see one of them slowly move into the entrace of a parking lot and stop. When we get close to the car he gets out and says "Stay right there, all of you!" First reaction was "First of all, Matt; shut the hell up before you say something stupid. Second of all, *turns to the officer* why?"
"You think I don't know what you little shits are up to?"
"Alright, well, sir, I don't take very kindly to being called a shit."
"DO YOU WANT ME TO TAKE YOU TO THE STATION, BOY!?"
    "No, not really."
Goes on like that for a few minutes, he talks to my friends, my friends stay sharp and we're on our way. "I'm watching you..." Captain Cliche said.

I was playing with the lighter and dimebag in my pocket the whole time.

    I would fight it.

Just explain to the judge that you understand the cop was just doing his job, but he made an honest mistake. Insist you did yield but cop did not see it.

If you play it right the judge will reduce the fine or dismiss it.

Sounds like the cop was a prick!

The best thing anyone can do is get a copy of your codes for your area (Ours is RSMO) most are available online and study the hell out of them.

When they start up on ya just nicely spout off a few that are normally numbers any way and then say obviously they fail to know the law they are hired to enforce and that perhaps a phone call to the immediate supervisor followed up by a call to the press will help his clouded memory. Trust me, officers dont remember law codes and have to call in at every stop to get it figured out unless its a simple traffic ticket.

Boog, fight it, just go to court, explain the person with the right of way waived her rights by instructing you to proceed first. That the officer obviously a block away could not look thru the womans car and see what she had done and also ask if this did not happen then why would not the woman have been there to protest you cutting her off or taking her turn. You accpeted her offer of surrendering the right of way becuase you felt that maybe she needed to get in where you were at and also due to the bad weather and having your child with you. It may work, may not either way its a chance to fight it and make him look stupid.

Also wonderful thing of contacting the press, the state reps ect becuase it was a bad weather day, you had a child ect and you both were not in cars he detained you both, your kid got real sick (I know that might be a lie but hell its the press it will sell) and all becuase a kind woman offered you the right away.

i've been thinking about this and the thing that bugs me the most is, that it was less than a block from an elemantary school. where i stopped is a stop sign, but the other traffic doesn't have one and a LOT of kids cross that street too. why isn't there a stop sign and why the hell isn't there a crossing guard??? not a single one anywhere! a little kid could very easily just walk out and get hit right there. there is also an intersect right infront of the schools parking lot exit.. with NO stop sign at all and again NO crossing guard. maybe i school bring this up with the school, the school district and the city. hell if they wanna hire me, i'll do it.

and yes i know i look like a damn teenager.

He let you put your hands in your pocket while he was talking to you?

Usually when people do that they tackle them and they go to jail.

But thats just my own excperiences.
