damn man, i'm sorry to hear about that! i never got jumped before or threatened with a gun (knock on wood) and i hope it never happens i can only imagine what the hell you were thinking.. i'd be shittin myself lol
i hate guns. but being from a hick town i shot guns since i was like 12 haha i would never carry one around though, i barely shoot them now.
Im not gonna lie, id love to show off a glock and have nobody fuck with you. also for self defense(just incase).
If he doesnt need it for protection then he probably needs it to make him feel like a hard man. guns arnt hard or anything to be proud of. I dont like fightin but if i have to ill use my fists and i respect even the people im fightin afterwards if they dont pull a blade or somthin.
Nursing Home Orderly: Good news, everybody, we're extending arts and crafts time by four hours today. Elderly Woman: My fingers hurt. Nursing Home Orderly: What's that? Elderly Woman: My fingers hurt. Nursing Home Orderly: Oh, well, now your back's gonna hurt, 'cause you just pulled landscaping duty. Anybody else's fingers hurt?... I didn't think so.
thAT is foolish. fists were good when fists were all there was. later man created swords and spears, the quality and skill determined the better hunter and gatherer. it also determined the one you dont fuck with. nowadays, its about little knifes and guns. swords are no longer even. sure you can spend 5 years learning various cobat arts and certain joint locks and self defence moves that can get you out of a diddly, but most dont have motivation/time/money/wish to do so, its alot simpler to get a firearm. having a gun and knowing how to use it does make you hard, and bragging and showing off makes people know it without the need for first hand experience with you, its just that most comfrontations happens in close qaurters, and a knife is alot more dangerous at that than a gun, at distance its the other way around. there is plenty of moves and locks to disarm an opponent with a gun, but most would just freak out and not try anything where as when u pull a knife many more would still advance on you. i do believe in fair fighting but too many donot, showing off a gun CAN prevent many people trying it with you and basicly u would never even need to use it. it makes me laugh how all these other people with dignity and fair fighting dint realise there will rarely be another fair fighter fighting you, decent people dont tend to fight each other, and even if you do theres no fair fight without a ring, ref, and controlled atmosphere. trying to fight a thug fair doesnt mean he will do same, that can get u in intensive care, undoable damage and even death. so why take the chance when its so simple, 5 years of training, knife, or gun. many people are just lucky never being in life threatening situations, but by what my dad, his freinds and many other people told me, i wouldnt want to take the risk
Well first off, hes in Florida where you can legally use deadly force if you feel threatened, and everyone here owns and loves guns. Without a permit though you would probably be fucked if it wasnt in your car. Just be careful, that 10-20-life law is pretty crazy. Secondly, I dont own any guns. Don't even really like them. But the second the government tries to outlaw them, I will own one - so I can shoot the people that come onto my property demanding the things. The reason the founding fathers wrote the 2nd amendment is to protect us from out of control governments and cops, not so much defense from other citizens. I'm glad you weren't hurt man.
Well you do and you said you did. And I quote: "when someone kicked me my .357 fell out of my pants...I ussually don't carry a weapon but I do when I go over there". That is a great way to get shot.
Fair fighting is an anomaly, embedded into your brain as a false sense of judging rank among people. Because you have been told by your peers that problems can ultimately be solved through the physical and that violence is a way of deciding supremacy, you believe it. And then so do others. This is the vicious cycle. Rethink the proverb, "The pen is mightier than the sword," for it couldn't be more true.
Thanks man. I was meanign I don't think that havign to carry a gun is something to luagh at. I'm not an idiot I'm not packin' heat like that gansta's. I gotta defend myself here.
