http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/common/lice.html btw, first of all if you have head lice (but I don't anymore) you SHOULD tell people - it's very rude not to, unless you don't mind them catching your lice.. second, I'm not at all embarassed of sharing this story.
People who have naturally dry hair shouldn't wash their hair and don't need to wash it more than every 3 days or so. Unless you smoke a lot and mind the smell or get it particularly dirty some other way (you got food on it, beer?) - people with greasy to normal hair need to wash every day cause their hair gets gross right away. So having dry hair can be a good thing, the downside is.. well it's dry and doesn't get as soft as normal hair can. Oh well.
Anybody who works with children are more likely to get headlice. Adults usually subconsiously give each other about 2 or 3 ft. of personal space that they don't invade. Kids on the other hand need to get close and touch each other and the adults around them. Anyone who works with a lot of kids have to go through your ordeal on a fairly regular basis. no reason at all to be embarassed you did what needed done quickly. peace
:cheers2:still pretty as ever right?? Unless the lice was adding to your overall physical beauty which I dont think they were.. And Ive had your picture up on a 42'' HDTV.. so I would know..
What I meant was I wouldnt be around people TELLING THEM while its still there. Thats just not right to me. Lice can be very different from the cold too I'd stay inside and away from people then when its out, i'll tell them afterwards or on the phone. Thats just all i meant people.
Hidding it doesn't work, those fuckers get everywhere. If your not mature enough to tell people that you have them then you diserve to catch them.
You again. figures. What did I just say? I'd....tell....people ...on...the..phone...so..they...wont..have..the..chance..to..get..them.. is that simple enough for you?
You still don't want to answer the question, and yelling at Sarahrei won't help you to respond .... Why are you ashamed to tell people that you have body lice? How is having body or head lice any different than having a cold or the flu? Were you doing something that you're ashamed of when you caught them? Your attitude just seems weird to me!
Im not yelling at all. Im speaking slowly for her I just wouldnt want to go around and telling people i have lice when i can just stick it out and wait for it to end. I dont want to give people that chance of getting it too, its my opinion and everyone has to argue with it. I never got head lice, never want to, Id expect the person that does to stay away. A lot of people will understand what im trying to say but just because i disagree, doesnt mean ya have to argue with me. its an opinion. Im not going to change it To me, a cold from lice is EXTREMELY different. a cold is a snuffy nose that you can get rid of in a matter of days. Lice is little bugs in your hair that live and breath and suck from you. And if you cant stay away from people, they'd stay away from you. believe me
.... ^^^^ .... It's pretty obvious that you are NOT going to answer my questions m'dear, but I'll simplify the question and give it one last try .... and slowly . . . . . . Why . . should . . a . . person . . be . . ashamed . . of . . having . . lice?
Don't bother troll, she's not worth it. I was SIMPLY saying for you Stacey that you CAN'T wait it out, a bad infestation can last for MONTHS. So what are you going to do hide in your house for months?
I said nothing about feeling ashamed. I just care about others and would rather not have that chance people might catch it too. Id feel horrible. Its your thoughts about wondering around and getting it too or giving it to someone. its your thoughts about making it fine to be around people HERE are MY thoughts, they are MY thoughts. I care about others too much to take that chance no matter how much time i'd take. Its nothing to be ashamed of, hell you got it from someone else! I however would be ashamed if i got it from my own self, but that'll never happen
I get fleas sometimes.. Bigfoot gave em to me.. I slipped a flea collar on his neck after he passed outs from eating mushrooms..
True Confessions - - - LMSAO Had crabs a time or two or three as a young man who made frequent trips to Villa Acuña, Mexico in the '50s Tweezers and zinc ointment .... if memory serves.
The last time I had lice I was 14. Our school was still being built so they had all of us in portables (trailers). Anyways the portables were old, leaky, and full of lice that couldn't be killed by RID. Haha gotta love getting a note sent home telling parents to put mayo on our heads, cover with a shower cap and blow dry so the heat would help kill them. Blah I had greasy hair for two days because I couldn't get all of the mayo out.
