i feel upset today

I like to take picture or anything that beautiful.i only use my smartphone.but today my friend said that if u wanna take picture,use nikon or any high tech camera.such a lame only use smartphone to take picture..guys,,do u think like that too??is it wrong i only use smartphone camera???sob.sob

 

Hello,

some smartphone cams might be technically limited, it's the same with any other camera. Most of the the time photos are crab because the photographer is crab at taking images , in a lot of situations it's not a question of the used gear. Go to flickr for example and search for pictures taken with a given smartphone cam. There are lots of nice pictures that are not taken with a (D)SLR.

I used to use a camera with all the bells and whistles when I was into photography, now I am not so my smartphone works well enough for pics and video. I probably wouldn't even take a camera on a trip unless I was looking for perfection and these phone cams are pretty close to the naked eye. Use it, they made it for you.

 

Eh, I have a decent SLR Canon 7D and I barely use the thing.
Phones can be great for day to day photos, selfies etc. I'd say if that's all you're doing a phone is probably fine but if you want good photos then head for something a touch better but then what clown gets upset over what camera someone is using? Kinda pathetic.
