Some times I wonder why bother. If struggle makes you stronger I should be Hercules instead I am more like Elmer Fudd. That’s all Folks.

The point being that you have a LOT of wisdom to share... and someone may be listening... perhaps someone here on the HipForums?

I am enjoying being older. Mostly because I get treated with a bit of respect here in Mexico where I live... they do respect us oldsters here as we have survived all of life's many situations and they all seem to know they face the same over time.

Wish I had been wise enough to take better care of myself, who knew I would live so long. In my family, my age seemed impossible every one has passed 5 to 10 yrs younger than me, siblings much much younger..

In many other countries like Mexico, most people respect seniors and try to help the physically and emotionally. In these countries, young people feel it is their responsibility to help and take care of seniors particularly, their families, relatives, and neighbors.

44 I definitely feel older than I did but not bad. I stay in good shape and that helps. Loosing and Keeping the extra pounds off helped a ton.

I have been feeling very old, particularly this year. I guess I am going through a mid-life crisis. I'll be 40 next year.

The older I get, the more aware I become of what I don't have and what I should have by my age.

My wife are going back for our 60th (gulp) class reunion in Wisconsin. People attending their 60th reunion the year we graduated were from the class of 1903! Feels like the twilight zone.

God rest the souls who can't make it, and God bless the souls who can. Wow, 60.
My high school graduating class will not have a 60th year reunion, not because none of us will live to attend it but because our class never had strong school spirit. Our 25th class reunion consisted of about a dozen alumni at a bar.
Hope you enjoy your reunion. As for any of mine, I couldn't care less.

77 years is not old, if biologically and physically you are fine you are not old. Everything depends on the way of our thought, if we think positive, even if it is not positive, emotionally we will be happy and feeling young.

Nobody I know is getting old gracefully, maybe it's more difficult than it looks.

You'd win that bet!! I was a decent looking guy, a good athlete, good at my job----had huge amounts of fun in the 40s-50s-60-70s and --well- on up. It's pretty much gone now. But of course --that's life and I'm sure most old suckers like me would go back and do it all over again!!:D:)
